Patricia Kelley is an extensively published author of articles on marketing, business, horses and the prison dog programs. Kelley’s article, Engaging the Whole was featured in the Appaloosa Journal in May 2007. Her article on the prison dogs programs and women prisoners was featured in YEN, Australia’s number 1 independent women’s magazine

Kelley has extensive knowledge in horses spanning forty-plus years. Her comprehensive knowledge of breeds, breeders, horse behavior, equine sports, shows and events, as well as training methods has given her the insight needed to address the critical and unfolding paradigm change in the equine industry as a whole-and individual practices within the whole. Her ability to ask the right questions and understand the answers in developing this book is key.

Because of her equine marketing knowledge and abilities, Kelley has been invited to speak at Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technologies Institute; Lake Erie College and Otterbein College in Ohio; Cazenovia College in New York; Wilson College in Pennsylvania; Lamar Community College in Colorado; Rocky Mountain College in Montana; and Olds College in Alberta, Canada. She has been asked to let them know when the book is available.

Kelley has been invited, over the years, as a key speaker/clinician to the Greater Northwest Equine Expo in Oregon, the Georgia Horse Council’s Horse Fair, and membership meetings of the International Sport Horse Registry.

Kelley is an animal advocate and a proponent for the advancement of the animal/human bond. As an equine consultant, she has developed a program called: “Changing the Equine Marketing Paradigm”.

Kelley is passionate about contributing to a new way of thinking and acting in horse ownership, breeding and activities, while providing creative tools and ideas to help people achieve their goals.

Specifically applicable to Conscious Marketing for the Horse Industry: A New Paradigm for a New Era, Kelley has developed key relationships, knowledge and insight that have allowed her to be the first author to address this new paradigm in marketing for the horse industry. Additionally, Kelley is a natural at marketing and promotion, as this is what she does for a living. Kelley has also developed and directed sizable equine events for nonprofits focused on introducing new people, and especially kids, to horses in a new way. She is currently developing and will soon be launching Conscious Horse Radio. Kelley has an Internet radio show where she talks about change in individuals, groups, businesses, and as a driving force that is evident everywhere now.
